“Limbo” è lo spazio dell’incertezza esistenziale, dell’horror vacui che permea la società odierna, dello smarrimento umano che esibisce una carta d’ identità fatta di superficie e dipendenza dall’ immagine. Pensato come un’opera generativa, un dispositivo istantaneo per tutti coloro che producono immagini e che le condividono sui social media.

“Limbo “ is the space of existential apprehension, of horror vacui which permeates today’s society, of human bewilderment which shows a superficial identity card that depends on the image. Conceived as a generative work, an instant device for all those who produce images and share them on the social media.

Un set fotografico dove lo spazio senza angoli risulta sospeso, alterando la percezione delle dimensioni: lo sfondo rosso e il cerchio bianco, con l’icona della macchina fotografica al centro, sono l’emblema di un attitudine collettiva ad un nuovo totalitarismo.

Dante Alighieri, nella Divina Commedia, pone il limbo nel primo cerchio complanare al vestibolo dell’inferno e lo riserva ai grandi uomini della classicità greca, romana e araba.

A photographic set where the space without corners results hanging, altering the perception of dimensions: the red wall and the white circle, with the icon of the camera at the centre, are the emblem of a collective attitude to a new totalitarianism.

Dante Alighieri, in the Divina Commedia, sets the limbo in the first circle, on the same level of the hell’s vestibule where he allocates the great men of greek, roman and arab classical antiquity.

Kingdom è il nome del villaggio globale. Non ha terra e il suo popolo vive nel cielo dove campeggia il suo vessillo.
L’esistenza dello stormo scorre in tempo reale, sotto l’insegna dell’uccellino: tutti cinguettano, tutti si inseguono in una migrazione senza fine.

Kingdom is the name of the global village. It has no land and its people live in the sky where its flag stands out.
The flock’s existence flows in real time, under the sign of the little bird: they all chirp, they all chase after one another in a never-ending migration.
